Taylor Swift’s Sydney Tour At Risk of Cancellation; Singer’s Jet Goes to Korea: Is Travis Kelce There?!

Super fans of Taylor Swift are now worried sick since there’s a chance that bad weather would force her to postpone her gigs in Sydney.

Following the issuance of a severe thunderstorm warning by the Bureau of Meteorology, rumors began to circulate ahead of Taylor’s second leg of her Australian tour.

There’s a cloud over Taylor’s first and second Sydney gigs on Friday and Saturday due to heavy rain, destructive winds, and large hailstones predicted for parts of NSW.

Swifties Need Not Worry
But in her 16-year career, Taylor has only canceled two performances: one in 2011 due to illness, and another in 2014 because of the military upheaval in Thailand.

Since Taylor is accustomed to performing in the rain, a few of her Eras Tour dates were held in the midst of storms; a slight postponement is probably in store.

Eras Tour Sydney Reschedule?
Rescheduling Sydney’s Friday and Saturday night concerts is the worst case scenario.

Events will proceed rain, hail, or shine, according to Accor Stadium, unless there is a risk to the performer’s safety.

However, a strong thunderstorm forced the postponement of a show in Buenos Aires in November 2023.

“I love a rain show but I’m never going to endanger my fans or my fellow performers and crew,” Taylor wrote on social media at the time.

“Due to the weather being so truly chaotic it would be unsafe to try and put on this concert. Good news is I get to stay in Argentina longer!!”

Accor Stadium in Sydney has limited coverage based on fans’ seat location. Umbrellas are allowed within the stadium, however fans are not allowed to use them in your seats as this could annoy others nearby.

Swift has been taking some time off in Sydney after her Melbourne tour. Her jet, meanwhile, headed somewhere strange, raising the question, “Who is it picking up?”

Singer’s Jet Goes to Korea
The plane that had carried Taylor Swift is traveling from Honolulu to Seoul on an odd route. Fans’ expectations that Swift’s boyfriend, Travis Kelce, would be traveling back to the US to join her in Australia were dashed by the plane’s destination in South Korea.

It’s unclear who might be aboard her aircraft right now or where the flight would be picking up from in South Korea.

The VistaJet-operated charter aircraft, 9H-VTD, is most likely being used by other clients. So Swifties should not get their hopes up.
