In his long and emotional retirement speech, former Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kecle made sure to thank ex-QB Nick Foles for daring to ask to run a trick play in the Super Bowl.

Kelce called it a career in a press conference on Monday where he thanked many people who were a part of his journey through a likely Hall-of-Fame career.

At one point in the speech, he thanked the quarterback nicknamed ‘Big D**k Nick’ – which, apparently, was a pretty apt moniker.

‘I won’t forget Nick Foles having the biggest game of his life, on the biggest stage possible — and the biggest d–k on the team, going up to Doug Pederson, and asking for the Philly Special,’ Kelce said.

‘And Doug Pederson having the biggest balls in the stadium … to say, “Yeah, let’s do it.”‘

But instead, the ball was directly snapped to running back Corey Clement. He handed the ball off to tight end Trey Burton, who ran the end around and passed the ball back to a wide open Foles in the end zone.

Philadelphia won the game 41-33, clinching the city its first and only Super Bowl so far. Foles tossed for 373 yards and a touchdown in the game of his life.

Kelce reflected on the moments after that title was won and how The City of Brotherly Love celebrated the accomplishment.

‘No one celebrates their own like the city of Philadelphia,’ Kelce said. ‘Athletes become demigods in this city.’

The ceremony was attended by his family, including his brother Travis, his mom Donna, his father Ed, and his wife Kylie.
