Meghan Markle’s Valentine’s Day Post Sparks Buzz After William and Kate’s Sweet Tribute
Meghan Markle has shared more love-themed content on social media—just hours after posting a gushing tribute to her “missing Valentine,” Prince Harry, who chose to stay more than 1,000 miles away.
The former working royal, who left the UK in 2020 for a luxurious life in a £12 million Californian mansion, posted a rare video of her children, Archie, 5, and Lilibet, 3, making Valentine’s Day treats using red bagels.
This comes just a week after Meghan showered Harry with affection at the Invictus Games in Vancouver, kissing and cuddling him in front of cameras—just after former U.S. President Donald Trump branded her “terrible.”
Meghan Shares an Inside Look at Family Life—As Harry Spends Valentine’s Day in Canada
In her latest display of affection, Meghan gave fans a glimpse into her home life, making cakes with her children while their father remained in Canada. Earlier today, the Duchess of Sussex took to Instagram to share a romantic photo of herself kissing Harry—just hours after Prince William and Kate Middleton posted their own Valentine’s Day tribute.
In her caption, Meghan wrote:
“Back home taking care of our babies and missing my Valentine, as he continues on at the Invictus Games, changing lives and reminding all of us of the power of healing and resilience through these incredible veterans and their families.
Beyond proud of my husband and what he’s created. My love, I will eat burgers & fries and fish & chips with you forever. Thank you for you.”
She signed the post “M” and added the hashtag #LoveWins—a slogan typically associated with LGBTQ+ celebrations.
Meanwhile, Harry remains in Canada for the remainder of the Invictus Games, which will conclude with Sunday’s closing ceremony. Following Meghan’s departure, the prince reportedly took a day off to unwind before attending the final events solo.
A source close to the couple addressed her early departure, stating:
“This was always planned. Meghan is going home to be with her children.
Meghan left the Invictus Games in Düsseldorf early after five days to return home. This is Prince Harry’s event, and she is there to support him, but this was the plan all along.”
