Travis Kelce has been told to re-watch his team’s Christmas Day loss to the Raiders by Las Vegas cornerback Jack Jones, after the Chiefs star dismissed the defeat by saying his team gave the game away.

The comments didn’t impress Jones and he had his chance to answer back to Kelce on Friday.

‘He said they gave us that game – tell him to go watch that game,’ Jones fired back to the Chiefs tight end.

‘We took that game. Yeah, we own that.’

Speaking on his New Heights podcast this week, the Chiefs star was furious with the manner of his team’s 20-14 loss at Arrowhead Stadium.

“Tell him to go watch that game, we TOOK that game.”

‘We literally played Santa and gave them a present,’ Kelce said on Wednesday’s show.

‘That was embarrassing. Everybody in the building knows how embarrassing that was. We got a short week so we’re going to forget about this s*** real quick,’ he said.

‘It’s a f***ing frustrating experience right now and every single day we’re trying to fix it. I promise you guys.

‘It’s not just one. It’s not just me playing dog s***… we played so trash as an offense that we put the defense in a really tough spot at the end of the game. It’s frustrating when you’ve got the guys you need and things aren’t going your way.’

Kelce and the Chiefs return to action on New Year’s Eve at Arrowhead when they host Cincinnati Bengals. Kelce’s girlfriend, Taylor Swift, is expected to be at the game.

The Chiefs are 9-6 for the season after their latest loss and have been beaten five times in the last eight games they’ve played.

It appears to suggest they will fail to recapture the Super Bowl title that they won last season, beating Jason Kelce and the Philadelphia Eagles in the final.

Jones and the Raiders, meanwhile, are 7-8 for the season after beating the Chiefs and have two games left against the Colts and the Broncos to make the playoffs.
