Travis Kelce has flirted with the possibility of working for WWE in the past, The Miz believes Travis and Jason Kelce would be a great tag team in WWE.

Travis Kelce should trade the NFL gridiron for the WWE’s squared circle, according to two-time WWE Champion The Miz.

‘I’m always sending like DMs to Travis being like, “Hey you’d be pretty good in the ring, I think you could do pretty well.” Never say Never,’ The Miz told TMZ.

‘Maybe he retires after this year and then what better way to go out than with a match at WrestleMania,’ The Miz continued.

WWE’s signature event is WrestleMania, with the 40th edition of the company’s biggest show next taking place in early April from Lincoln Financial Field, home of the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Miz pitched the idea of Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce teaming with his younger Kansas City Chiefs tight end brother at the extravaganza.

The trio of the Kelce Brothers and The Miz, whose real name is Mike Mizanin, all hail from the Cleveland area, with The Miz being a devoted Browns fan despite his admiration for the Kelce duo.

Kelce’s love for WWE has popped up a few times during his football career, including wearing a WWE Championship belt during the Chiefs’ 2020 Super Bowl parade.

Kelce also used one of WWE legend The Rock’s signature phrases in a post-game interview: ‘Know your role, and shut your mouth!’

WWE is considered sports entertainment, with the storylines and match results predetermined. However, the bumps and injuries wrestlers get from their rigorous schedule are real.

The Kelce brothers wouldn’t be the first active or former NFL stars to wrestler with WWE. San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle and former Indianapolis Colt Pat McAfee worked together in a match against The Miz at WrestleMania 39.

Rob Gronkowski has also appeared in a WWE ring on a few occasions. Former New York Giant Lawrence Taylor defeated Bam Bam Bigelow in the main event of WrestleMania 11.
