The Chief’s game loss made Travis Kelce fail to pull off Christmas Day plan with Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift was in attendance to watch her boyfriend Travis Kelce in action on Christmas Day, but the Kansas City Chiefs tight end failed to reach a milestone in a disappointing loss.

Travis Kelce, the tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, had a disappointing Christmas Day game in front of his girlfriend, pop star Taylor Swift. Despite being just 76 yards away from reaching 1,000 yards for the season, he only managed to gain 44 yards and didn’t score a touchdown.

The Chiefs were defeated by their division rivals, the Las Vegas Raiders, with a low score of just 14 points. This was their third loss in four games, making their path to the Super Bowl more challenging.

Kelce had a chance to reach a major milestone in front of Swift and failed to do so. While he did record his 900th career catch, he couldn’t get over the 1,000-yard mark for the season, which would have extended his record for the most consecutive 1,000 yard receiving seasons by a tight end.

Kelce is still on track for another 1,000-yard season, despite his performance dipping a bit this year compared to previous ones. Still, he’s one of the top receivers in the NFL and will be aiming to bounce back when the Chiefs face the Cincinnati Bengals on New Year’s Eve.

Swift could again be in attendance for that game, as the couple are reportedly spending their first Christmas together at Kelce’s new £4.5 million mansion in Kansas City. They’ve been dating for over three months now, with Swift attending seven games this season, even travelling to away games.

Taylor Swift at game

Swift flew to Nashville to spend Christmas Eve with her family before heading to Missouri for the game. This may have disrupted some of their Christmas plans, but they’re set to enjoy the rest of the holiday season together.
