Will Taylor Swift ever visit the newly inaugurated CPKC Stadium, home of the Kansas City Current (KC Current), somewhere down the line? Patrick Mahomes and Brittany Mahomes gave an update.
The new season of NWSL kicked off on Saturday night as the KC Current took on the Portland Thorns. Both Patrick Mahomes and his wife Brittany were present to watch the game at the new 11,000-seat CPKC Stadium on the banks of the Missouri River.
Here is what Brittany had to say:
It’s been remarkable to be in this stadium and see the fans. I feel like I’m at Arrowhead.
The joyous occasion received a massive boost when the KC Current won a nail-biting 5-4 against the Portland Thorns to kickstart their campaign. After the game, Mahomes was asked when the local soccer enthusiasts would get to see Taylor Swift at the stadium.
Mahomes said:
We might get her here at some point; she’s a busy woman, and Travis [the Kansas City Chiefs tight end] is a busy guy.

The 14-time Grammy winner has been a regular at the Kansas City Chiefs games, whether at Arrowhead or during away days. Since officially becoming Travis Kelce’s girlfriend, Swift’s presence has taken the game of football to new heights.
Mahomes added:
Maybe during the season or something like that, we’ll get her [Taylor Swift] out to a Kansas City Current game. She loves supportingKansas City just like we do.
