A source close to Selena Gomez and her fiance, Benny Blanco, talked about their unfiltered love for one another to Life&Style. “Selena adores Benny, and she’s got zero doubt in her mind that they’ll last. She wouldn’t have said yes to his proposal otherwise,” the source mentioned, adding, “But at the end of the day, Selena has to protect herself.” This revelation regarding the couple’s prenup agreement came after the Wizards of the Waverly Place alum acquired billionaire status like her BFF Taylor Swift for her Rare Beauty brand.
The source continued, “It’s a business Selena built from scratch and is justifiably proud and protective over,” and Blanco, with an estimated net worth of USD 50 million himself, has no disagreement about the prenup settlement. The source shared, “He (Blanco) totally gets it and wouldn’t dream of challenging Selena on this issue at all. Besides, Benny’s pretty successful, too, so it’s not like he’s going to be dependent on Selena to support him. That’s actually one of the things she loves about him most.”
In line with this, the insider claimed that Gomez loves how both of them have their independent identities and professional paths.
Meanwhile, another insider talked about Gomez and Blanco’s wedding preparations in the same publication. For those unaware, Blanco and Gomez began dating in June 2023 but made their relationship public in December of the same year.
