This incident is not isolated. In January 2025, after sharing a mirror selfie on Instagram, Brown encountered similar negative comments suggesting she appeared older than her age. In response, she took to her Instagram Stories, stating, “Women grow!! Not sorry about it :)” , emphasizing the natural progression of aging and her refusal to apologize for it.

The online community’s reaction to the SAG Awards incident was mixed. While some criticized her appearance, others defended her. One user commented, “She’s pretty and looks professional; people just watch too much porn and TikTok,” highlighting the skewed beauty standards prevalent today.
