After her security team were seen pacing and tapping their watches for over an hour, Taylor Swift finally tore herself away from her football hero to depart for Los Angeles and Sunday night’s Grammy awards.
Swift and Travis Kelce finally parted after hunkering down in the Kansas City Chief’s mansion for three days celebrating their AFC Championship – with the pop superstar jetting off to LA for the awards show on Wednesday afternoon.
The lovebirds have been nearly inseparable since Swift, 35, wrapped up her international Eras Tour in December, reportedly spending every moment they can together.
She was seen smothering the Kansas City star in kisses as she joined his mother Donna on the field at the Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday.
And DailyMail.com revealed they partied into the early hours at their favorite rooftop bar in Kansas City, Prime Social.
After their late-night escapades, the NFL’s golden couple didn’t come up for air until Wednesday morning – spending at least 48 hours inside Kelce’s pad alone together.
Exclusive DailyMail.com photos show the Shake it Off hitmakers’ team loading at least ten suitcases onto her private jet, which flew in from Nashville after taking her mom, dad and brother back home on Sunday night.
They also loaded several garment bags, rugs and other items onto her Dassault Falcon, with the star herself having no issues with keeping her team waiting for over an hour for her arrival.
Several members of her security detail and assistants were seen pacing on the tarmac and tapping their watches before Swift showed up.
Presumably, she was trying to spend every moment she could with Kelce before he returns to rigorous training for the upcoming Super Bowl
Her plane entered a hangar to allow Swift to board without prying eyes, as her security used several cars, the door of the hanger and her usual umbrellas to block her from sight.
She appears to be keen to avoid any criticism that she could be a ‘distraction’ for the Chief’s star, with experts blaming his partying with Swift during the off-season for his lackluster start to the year.
Both Swift and her fans were hopeful that if the Chiefs lost, her NFL beau would be able to make his first official awards show appearance since they started dating.
But the tight win against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday meant fans will be left hoping for glimpses of the couple at the Super Bowl in New Orleans rather than on the red carpet at the Grammys.
Swift is nominated for six awards at the 2025 Grammy’s and is now headed to the West Coast to prepare for the awards. CBS appeared to confirm her attendance in a promo for the show on Sunday.
The success of her Tortured Poets Department album means she is in the mix for Best Pop Vocal Album, Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Best Music Video for Fortnight featuring Post Malone.
She is also nominated for the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for ‘us.’ featuring Gracie Abrams.
Her nominations make her the first woman ever to receive seven Album of the Year nominations. She currently has 14 Grammy wins in total.
Travis missed the event last year because he was preparing to take on the San Francisco 49ers, but showed his support by liking an Instagram post showing her on the red carpet.
He also said on the Pat McAfee show, during that time, that he would have ‘loved’ to support Taylor at the event but had training.
Insiders believe that the break in his schedule could mean that he will accompany her to the event – marking their first official red-carpet event together as a couple.
Despite dating for over a year, their conflicting schedule has prevented them from showing up together at any glitz and glamour events.
Swift has been quick to praise the tight end at her most recent awards show, gushing during her acceptance speech at the 2024 VMAs.
‘My boyfriend Travis, anything this man touches turns into happiness, fun, and magic’, she told the crowd.
It comes after sources told US Weekly that the couple are ‘looking at real estate’ together in Kansas City.
Swift and Kelce have ‘talked about exploring buying a home together,’ and are planning to focus on it when they both have time.
The house hunting could be a sign that the couple, who have been dating since Summer 2023, is on the road to marriage.
Meanwhile, Taylor is currently renovating her stunning seaside Rhode Island mansion – a project that will cost her $1.7million.
The star’s vacation home will have a lavish upgrade, with plans to expand the 11,000 square-foot-house by an additional 400 square feet, according to a building permit and zoning certificate.
But the pair will be keen to focus on the Super Bowl LIX on February 9, with Taylor expected to make an appearance at the game, despite only going to home games this season after security threats were raised.
Victory means the Chiefs are now just one win away from becoming the first team in NFL history to win three consecutive Super Bowls.
The Chiefs will take on his brother Jason’s former team, the Philadelphia Eagles, in New Orleans after beating Josh Allen and the Bills again in the playoffs.

In his $400 million lawsuit, filed earlier this month, Baldoni said Swift showed up and made him feel like he ‘needed to comply with Blake’s direction for the script’.
