Ben Affleck is giving back to the Los Angeles community amid the devastating wildfires that swept through parts of the city.

The Oscar-winner, 52 — who lives in a $20million abode in LA’s Brentwood neighborhood — visited a homeless site with several colleagues on Tuesday.

A group of volunteers were seen huddled around the father-of-three as he spoke to them just feet away from what appeared to be an encampment.

Later, Affleck was seen taking a smoke break as he walked around the area with a woman carrying a binder by his side.

For his volunteer day, Affleck suited up in a stylish neutral-toned look that included a collared sweater over a blue and white striped button-up shirt.

He completed his outfit with gray slacks, white Nike sneakers and a beige jacket.

Los Angeles’ homeless crisis prompted Mayor Karen Bass to declare a state of emergency when she took office in 2022.

The Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority’s 2024 census revealed that ‘the homeless population declined by 0.27% to 75,312 in LA County, and by 2.2% to 45,252 in the City of LA’ last year.

But any progress that was made could take a hit as the LA wildfires that broke out earlier this month have left thousands of residents without a place to live.

The blazes decimated the Pacific Palisades and Altadena and forced people in surrounding neighborhoods to evacuate.

Affleck was among those who had to evacuate as the Palisades Fire — which scorched 23,448 acres of land — crept dangerously close to his home in Brentwood.

He reportedly fled to his ex-wife Jennifer Garner’s $7.8M four-bedroom Brentwood Park home, which was also spared from the inferno that destroyed 6,800 structures.

Celebrities who’ve lost their homes in the blaze include: Mel Gibson, Paris Hilton, Jeff Bridges, Anna Faris, Cary Elwes, Diane Warren, Anthony Hopkins, John Goodman, Eugene Levy, Steve Guttenberg, Jennifer Grey, Ricki Lake, Matt Damon, Miles Teller, Billy Crystal, and Adam Brody, and Heidi Montag.

Since the fire broke out on January 7, Affleck’s ex Garner, 52, has been actively volunteering with the not-for-profit charitable organization, World Central Kitchen, which provides food relief to those in need, to help the community where she once lived.

The church that Garner frequents was burned down and she revealed to MSNBC that one of the 29 lives lost in the fire was a friend of hers.

Affleck and Garner have remained amicable since ending their decade-long marriage in 2018. The former couple share three kids: Violet, 19, Fin, 16, and Samuel, 12.

On Saturday night, Affleck and Garner reunited to attend a school play in Santa Monica with Fin.

Garner arrived with the teen while Affleck rolled up to the event solo at met up with his ex-wife and child inside.

Their eldest Violet is currently enrolled at Yale University, and they’ll celebrate Samuel’s 13th birthday on February 27.

Affleck has been leaning on Garner for support since his ex-wife Jennifer Lopez filed for divorce in August after two years of marriage.

He and the 55-year-old singer settled their divorce earlier this month and it will be finalized on February 20.

However, the exes still need to sell the $68 million Beverly Hills mansion that they purchased as their marital home in 2023 for $60.85 million.

They’ve had the 12-bedroom, 24-bathroom home on the market since June 2024 but have yet to find a buyer.

Affleck moved out of the house and purchased a $20.5 million Brentwood bachelor pad in July.

Last week, TMZ reported that Lopez recently toured a $20 million mansion near Affleck’s Brentwood neighborhood.

While the On The Floor hitmaker is said to be quite taken with the property, she reportedly has ‘serious concerns’ about the air quality in the area, especially after the deadly LA fires.

The aftermath has left the air quality in the region still quite poor.

The outlet’s sources say Lopez is even bringing in an air quality specialist to test the environment before moving forward with the purchase.
