Rapper Meek Mill is taking bold steps to distance himself from the controversy surrounding Sean “Diddy” Combs, offering $100,000 in cash to investigators to uncover why his name is being dragged into the ongoing scandal.
Last week, Diddy was arrested on federal charges, including racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking of minors, and facilitating prostitution. Since his arrest, several individuals from his past have faced public scrutiny, with Meek Mill being one of the latest to have his name brought up.
Taking to social media, Meek Mill expressed his frustration, claiming a deliberate attempt to tarnish his image due to his previous association with Diddy. In a series of tweets, he shared his anger and desire to get to the bottom of the situation.
“I wanna hire an investigative team 100k cash,” Meek tweeted. “To find out every specific detail involving Meek Mill name to ‘Diddy’ Case.”
Meek further explained that he isn’t worried about his street credibility but is more concerned about the business side of things. “The streets know wassup with me that’s not the case. We talking about business side… somebody powering these bad campaigns with ‘Meek Mill.’ I got 100k for a thorough investigation of who’s powering and how exactly my name is connected to this.”
