Linda Evangelista was in good spirits as she left Karen Elson’s wedding in New York on Saturday.
The supermodel, 59, was one of the many guests at the star-studded nuptials of Karen and Lee Foster at the Electric Lady Studios.
She opted for a smart black suit that she left open giving a tease of a smooth black top underneath and complemented the whole ensemble with a loose-fitting tie.
The catwalk star kept things natural with her makeup and wore her dark locks in a quaffed style that hung neatly around her ears.
Linda was seen with an unnamed friend, who struck a much more casual getup in a baseball cap, cream chinos and trainers.
The model was just one of a host of stars to attend the glitzy event, and was in the company of Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce and others on the big day.
Karen’s daughter Scarlett Teresa, 18, served as her only bridesmaid. Aside from Scarlett, Karen also has son Henry Lee White, 17, with rocker ex Jack White.
Karen announced her engagement to Lee in a series of sweet Instagram posts in November of 2023. This is Lee’s first marriage.
The outing for Linda comes almost exactly a year on from when she claimed her ex-husband Gérald Marie abused her during their five-year marriage.
Discussing their relationship in Apple TV+ documentary The Super Models, Evangelista said: ‘I learned that maybe I was in the wrong relationship.
‘It’s easier said than done to leave an abusive relationship. I understand that concept, because I lived it. If it was just a matter of saying, ‘I want a divorce, see ya’… it doesn’t work that way.
‘He knew not to touch my face, not to touch the money-maker, you know?’
In a statement to Apple TV+, Marie denied the claims of abuse and said he ‘has never committed the slightest act of violence’.
Marie’s legal representatives told MailOnline: ‘Gérald Marie firmly objects to the defamatory and false allegations made against him. He refuses to participate in this dishonest media controversy.’
Evangelista previously claimed that due to her ‘own experiences’ with Marie she believed allegations that he raped and sexually assaulted models in the 1980s and 1990s.
Marie was reported to have carried out the crimes while working for Elite modelling agency amongst other Paris agencies.
