This will mark Beyoncé’s first time on the road since her “Renaissance” world tour, which set records in 2023. The tour grossed an astonishing $579 million from 56 shows across Europe and North America. The success didn’t end there, as Beyoncé’s concert film, Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé, released in December 2023, grossed an additional $44.4 million globally.
Beyoncé’s “Renaissance” album, which debuted in July 2022, was part of a three-act project that began during the COVID-19 pandemic. “Cowboy Carter”, released in March 2024, is the second act of this highly anticipated trilogy. The album has already generated a massive buzz, topping Page Six’s list of the best albums of the year and winning a Grammy Award for Album of the Year at the 2025 ceremony.
This country-leaning album features collaborations with music legends like Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson, Miley Cyrus, and Post Malone. Its chart-topping single, “Texas Hold ‘Em”, has already captured the hearts of fans worldwide.
Beyoncé was inspired to record Cowboy Carter after a difficult experience at the 2016 CMA Awards, where she performed with the Chicks and felt unwelcome. Reflecting on her journey, she shared on Instagram: “The criticisms I faced when I first entered this genre forced me to propel past the limitations that were put on me.”
The first live performance of Cowboy Carter came on Christmas Day 2024, when Beyoncé headlined the halftime show at the Baltimore Ravens vs. Houston Texans game, streamed on Netflix.
With presale tickets just around the corner and a slew of special performances in the works, Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter tour promises to be an unforgettable experience for fans around the world.
